Belize Cave Tubing & Zip Lining
After being equipped with helmets, headlamps, and inner-tubes, begin a 45 minutes trek through jungle trails while being educated about Belize’s flora and fauna.
The hike includes swaying across a shallow portion of the caves branch river, through two dry caves and eventually reaching to the entrance of the Nohoch che’en cave system. Lounge in your inner-tubes and start your voyage downstream while enjoying the pounding sounds of cascades and refreshing waters of this chamber. Stalactites, stalagmites, pillars, and calcite are a few formations that décor this mysterious underworld.
With the aid of your headlamps, your guide will be enhancing the various
stone formations and explaining the importance that each represented to the ancient Maya civilization. Upon exiting the cave, you will continue a gentle float downstream before arriving the starting point.
After 30 minutes break, the day’s adventure continues with an aerial runway. Zip-lining is an exhilarating experience that provides a bird’s eye view of the rainforest and river below. The professionally installed double-set cables stretch 80 feet above the jungle floor. Do a five-run Zip from tree top to tree top for a unique experience of adrenalin rush.
Cave tubing can be on its own or can be combined with The Belize Zoo to form a full day tour.
